Originally from Chicago, Jeff grew up playing the sounds of Glenn Miller, Dave Brubeck, and Louis Jordan. Who knew decades later he'd be dancing to the same songs. After transplanting to Virginia Beach in '91, he was introduced to swing dance in 2001 and was easily bitten by the jitter-bug. Since then he helped the scene grow with introducing SwingVirginia.com and kept the scene alive since.

With Chicago Blues still in his heart and as a closet blues harp player, he easily got hooked into Blues Dance after his first exchange's late night blues room and all went to Hell after that. He helped create Dirt Cheap Blues events he continues to "Keep You In The Blues" in his city and all across the country.

He's been Blues & Swing DJing since '03 and has been all over the country at workshops, exchanges, house parties and wherever music is to be played from NY to FL to TX to IL and knows where else. His lack of sleep helps him grow his library by finding right songs to keep your butt on the dance floor and out of the chair. He'll crank out your faves, plus his curveball songs that make you say "What the hell is this? But hey, let's dance!"
